My Story
I was first introduced to Scentsy in December 2007 when I was given my first Scentsy Bar - Welcome Home from a neighbor. I had no idea what to do with it since I had never heard of it before! I found out I would need a warmer and put it on the "Back Burner" and didn't think about it for a few months. Then the following Spring I found out another neighbor's sister was having a party and I thought that maybe I would order one and a few scents, so I bought the Scentsy System, my first warmer was the Grapevine! Within a week after receiving my order, I went to a show at the local fair grounds where I met my now Super Star Director/Sponsor. I purchased a 6 pack from her and decided to have a "Basket Party". When I closed it, I had about $600 in orders. I booked another "Basket Party" with an "Open House" to close the party and did about $750 in sales! I went back and forth for a year after having another very successful "Basket Party" for her. I finally decided in March 2009 that I should sign up to sell Scentsy!
With selling Scentsy I am able to work the hours I want and I have never missed any of my kids school performances. During 2016 and 2017 my husband was working on the Big Island of Hawaii and because I can literally do my "job" from anywhere my three children and I were able to go to the big island for lengthy visits without having to move the whole family there! I could literally sit on the beach and work while playing all at the same time! How many people can actually say that?
Like many others before me, I had tried other direct sales companies and ended up failing miserably at those. Then Scentsy came around and I fell in love with the products. It was completely different than any other company I had been involved with. At my very first Scentsy Convention in Salt Lake City back in the Summer of 2009 it was announced that the incentive trip would take us to Hawaii! Going there was a dream of mine and I set my sights to earn that trip! Which I did and also went on to earning many more after that! I've been able to visit so many new places I have never been before because of Scentsy! I've been to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, Riviera Maya; Mexico, Colorado, Texas, Indiana, Las Vegas (twice) and Hawaii (twice). I am so excited to see where my adventure will take me next!
